At FBC Kids, we’re passionate about helping children grow in their love for Jesus—one heart at a time! We believe every child is a precious gift from God (Psalm 127:3), and we’re here to walk alongside them as they discover who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. Our goal is to help kids know Christ personally, accept Him into their hearts, and learn to lean on Him in every season of life. “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” —2 Peter 3:18. Through age-appropriate teaching, worship, and hands-on activities, we guide our kids to turn to Jesus in times of trouble, just as Psalm 46:1 reminds us:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” We also teach children what it means to serve the Lord with gladness—because faith isn’t just about knowing Jesus, it’s about living for Him with joy!
“Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing.” —Psalm 100:2
🌟 Sunday Mornings – Kids Sunday School @ 9:45 AM
Every Sunday morning, our classrooms are buzzing with joy as kids from birth through 5th grade dive into God’s Word. Each age group enjoys Bible stories, crafts, games, and songs that bring Scripture to life and help them build a strong spiritual foundation. Whether your child is learning about creation for the first time or memorizing verses from the Gospels, there’s a place for them here!
🚀 Wednesday Nights – BLAST (Bible Learning and Spiritual Training)
Our BLAST program runs with the school year and is open to kids from PreK through 6th grade. Wednesday nights are packed with high-energy fun, engaging Bible lessons, and meaningful friendships. Through interactive learning and Christ-centered community, kids grow in character, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and learn how to live boldly for Christ in their schools and neighborhoods.

Alexis Steadham, Children's Minister
Alexis Steadham has been part of the Forestburg Baptist Church family since February 2021, and she brings heart, energy, and a whole lot of joy to everything she does! Married to Ridge Steadham, Alexis is a proud mom to three amazing kids — Lily, Ashley, and Alex — who keep her life full of laughter and love. With a passion for helping kids grow in their faith, Alexis began serving in Children’s Ministry in 2020 and officially stepped into the role of Children's Minister in January 2024. Her mission? To make sure every child hears about Jesus and experiences His love. She believes that when Jesus takes root in a child's heart, He’ll keep growing with them every step of the way. On top of that, Alexis keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes as our Church Secretary, handling office matters and church finances with care and precision. When she’s not busy at the church, you’ll likely find her belting out a tune or tending to her award-winning dairy goats (yes, really — they’ve got the ribbons to prove it!). We’re so blessed to have Alexis on the team!
